My Father Jehovah, keeps His Promises! He is not the God of “Almost.” The Great I Am keeps His Promises. Sometimes when the oceans are rising and the tides are coming in we get pretty uneasy. Yes, He carried us across the beach, but what now?
My friend, God will never leave us nor forsake us. There may be a part of His promise to you that is yet to come to pass. Fret not. Be of good cheer. Sometimes in such cases at the last moment He comes rushing in unexpectedly. Our Super Hero!!! Hold on precious one! Don’t lose faith! Stay in His Word. God is faithful and you can trust Him. I have found that He is my best friend, none else gets me like Him. Nobody can satisfy the longings in my heart like He does. I will rest in His Promises. I pray you will too today. Have a wonderful day and God bless in JESUS Name! 🙂
Overcome depression with the help of JESUS and The Holy Spirit!
Philippians 4:8 (KJV)

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJV)
3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

1 Peter 4:12-13 (KJV)
12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

The Lord has led me to a morning Devotional based on Luke Chapter 8:23-25. This is the account of Jesus sleeping in the midst of the storm.
Luke 8:23-25 (KJV)
23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.
24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
The disciples were in danger and they began to panic. So they went and woke Jesus up, telling Him they were going to die. The boat was filled with water from the storm. Things were looking bad for them and in the midst of the storm they forgot Who was on board. The Son of God was sailing with them on that boat. The Creator of Heaven and Earth whom by all thing were made was there with them, yet they wound up in a tizzy. Jesus was only one cry away. He rose up when they cried out, faithful and true, but how easy we forget. How easy the flesh forgets that we never leave His Hands.
Luke 8: 25 records Jesus saying “Where is your faith?”
Even after Jesus calmed the storm they were yet surprised in verse 25. Do you ever notice yourself being surprised when a prayer is answered or you realize that The Lord has heard your cry?
Psalm 46:1-3 tells us,
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
The entire world can be caving in around us but we need not be afraid.
Psalm 91: 5-10 says,
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Remember who you are, precious one. Better yet, remember WHOSE you are! 🙂
No matter how terrible the storms in your life may be, remember you belong to JESUS.
Be blessed with this song in Jesus’ Mighty Name, God bless you!
Hebrews 3:12-19 (KJV)
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
