Question ?

Why do the two words typical and normal, which mean the same thing and can be used interchangeably, seem different (to me at least)?

When someone is described as normal in today’s world…

Nope.

There is no longer a normal.

This normal they have spoken of for centuries is gone!

When I hear the word typical being used to describe someone, somehow it really doesn’t have the same affect…Weird, eh?

Maybe I’m just sleepy…

  1. To me ir seems what is normal–always subject to change–is what is usual for you or for me, an individual matter. What is typical applies to a group of people or what is usual for MOST people most of the time. It seems to me we can work on changing our own norms, if we would like to establish new norms fr ourselves. Blessings!
