“He who the Son sets free is free indeed”
John 8:36

As a family, my mother, sister, and I held him as he took his last breath. My dad passed away on Saturday, June 7th. Our lives are forever changed, and his spirit is freed. Dad is asleep in Jesus now, but I am so blessed with tons of amazing memories of the special person that I am so very blessed and proud to call my daddy. Forever, my Hero! Praise God for the gift of my father on earth. ♥

  1. I was also present for my dads last breath. It’s a surreal experience, but I knew that he was with his ancestors. I hope that you and your family find comfort in knowing that he is in paradise now. God bless.

  2. I’m sorry for your fiscal loose of him. but he will live on in your heart, your thought’s and fond memories. He is eternal now, in peace and is now waiting when we all will make the journey to him and the rest that have gone before us too our father who art-in-heaven. He will be there always, watching, listening and speaking. All you need to do is listen to your heart were a part of him still resides. I will offer prayer in your fathers name this evening and days to come. Gods speed on your new journey and my families best wishes for your, Michael.

    1. Thank you so much for this blessing comment! Also, so much, for the prayers, Michael! I cannot express how grateful I am for that, and for connecting with such an amazing community of awesome people who are both kind and very talented. I admire your work very much, and especially your kind heart 🙂 God bless you and your family all of your days, and so much for giving such comfort to a family facing a huge change with this loss.

  3. I’m so sorry for your loss. I read your blog regularly, and, while not personally religious, am very inspired your go-get-em attitude and general positivity. Your dad is in your thoughts and memories, and that means he’s never truly gone. Virtual hugs from a fellow blogger!
